Mask Policy Update 1.5.2021
Jr. Ducks, Lady Ducks, ADHSHL, The Rinks & Great Park Ice participants,
I hope this email finds everyone well, healthy and safe. As previously mentioned, in accordance with California Department of Public Health (CDPH) guidelines, guests are required to wear face coverings at all times inside Great Park Ice and The Rinks facilities regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status. However, we understand that some guests cannot wear face coverings during heavy exertion while on the ice/playing surface. The CDPH states that if face coverings cannot be worn during heavy exertion, it is strongly recommended that individuals undergo screening testing at least once weekly.
The health and safety of all Rinks guests and staff is important to us. In the event you cannot wear a face covering on the ice or playing surface for the above reason, you will be required to receive a negative COVID-19 test within 7 days prior to your participation and prior to entry, sign a declaration confirming that your COVID-19 test was negative. Please note that face coverings are still required to be worn by all guests at all times off the ice/playing surface, regardless of a negative COVID-19 test.
As a reminder, the following face coverings are permitted:
- Cloth or surgical type mask (disposable or reusable)
- Clear mask
- Face shield with drape on bottom edge
